Ares 1-X poised for launch (UPDATE: launch scrubbed, trying again tomorrow at 8am)

Ares 1-X, the experimental launch vehicle for NASA's Constellation program designed to get humans back to the moon and beyond, is scheduled to launch this morning from Cape Canaveral. You can see the launch live here.

UPDATE: The mission was scrubbed for today because of clouds over the launch pad and winds in excess of 20 knots — the NASA team now plans another attempt tomorrow morning (Wednesday), lifting off at 8am Eastern Time.
