In the future, when we have real Stormtroopers, they'll probably be wearing something very similar to the U-met (or Utility Helmet). Offered by Japan's NEC and Tanizawa, the helmet is equipped with a GPS device, a camera and a headset designed to let the wearer to communicate with other security or corporate personnel via a 3G cellular network or LAN.
The front of the waterproof unit can be removed in order to allow the wearer to either change its settings or affix the attachment to a different helmet. Pricing and availability haven't been revealed, but if you're interested in starting your own wireless imperial guard you can find out more here.
