2010 Olympic torch might allude to substances athletes aren't allowed near

The next Olympics are coming up next year in Vancouver, and they've just unveiled the new Olympic torch. It's composed of stainless steel, aluminum and sheet moulding and was designed to evoke snow, ice, skiing and skating. But a lot of locals think it looks like something else entirely.

Yep, it kind of looks like a joint. And with Vancouver being a famously marijuana-friendly city, why not, right? The residents of the city seem to be mostly amused by the likeness, a chilled-out reaction that may or may not confirm the design choice. But intentional or no, it certainly is a distinctive look for the torch, and I guess that's all that really matters.
