The world's largest Saturn V model rocket has successfully completed its mission. On Saturday, the 36-foot-tall rocket streaked into the heavens, almost 40 years after its namesake blasted humans to their first moon walk.

The $25,000 rocket traveled to a altitude of around 4000 feet above the Eastern shore of Maryland, floating gently back to earth underneath four parachutes.
