Want your home to look more like the interior of a Cylon Basestar? GumDesign has created a couple of wicked-looking lighting concepts that'll give your house that beyond-modern look. Behind the translucent front panel, the LEDs in these lamps have an interesting, slightly eerie effect.

The hanging lamp would have a give any foyer or dining room a tastefully futuristic flavor, while the floor lamps, reminiscent of MartonLogan's electrostatic speakers, would transport your home somewhere off-world.
