Spy shots: What's really happening off the coast of Tonga
If you haven't heard, things are getting pretty nuts in the Pacific Ocean. An underwater volcano is erupting, you say? Nonsense! That's just what they want you to think. Our intrepid spies managed to snap the above picture, where you can clearly make out Ghidorah emerging from a plume of smoke, as the King completes a quick getaway from a disoriented Godzilla. Seconds later, a blast from one of Ghidorah's heads vaporized our Bothan photographers.
Okay, you caught me. What you see above (sans Godzilla and Ghidorah) is the eruption from a volcano off the coast of Nuku'Alofa, Tonga, an island in the South Pacific. It's just one of dozens down there, and it's been sending jets of smoke and water hundreds of yards into the air.
Normally, an active volcano would be scary. This one's actually kind of pretty — check out more pics here.
