Planet Earth clock brings you the Sun and Moon too

This extraordinary clock from Ulysse Nardin is more an astrological masterpiece than a mere timepiece.

The transparent crystal globe has outlines of the continents, so you can see exactly where you are. This sphere is fixed. However, the inner sphere rotates with a model of the Universe — one complete revolution takes 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. Zoom, zoom. There are separate hands for the Sun and Moon, and both indicate in which part of the earth they're visible. The Dragon hand moves with the signs of the zodiac.

A simple clock on the front panel of the mahogany case displays the current time, and the key-wind clock has a 30-day power reserve. If you want one, better grab it soon - only 99 limited edition pieces will be produced. Price is not available, but it's most likely a case of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."

I want one. I want one bad. So should anyone else who thinks the world revolves around them.

UPDATE: We just got the price from the manufacturer. $360,000. Gulp. They also said I could order one from a shop just around the corner from me. Yeah. I'll be right there.
