Sometimes, when you're walking around in a city, you want a faster way to get around. If only you had an electric scooter at your disposal! Well, Anton Grimes' entry into the Australian Design Awards competition would offer up just that to any lazy walker.
It's called the Link scooter system, and it attaches to lampposts and holds a small lightweight electric scooter. You come up, pop it off, use it, and drop it back off at another station, where it gets recharged. Presumably there'd be some sort of account system in place so you couldn't just run off with the scooter, but it's a pretty neat idea in my opinion.
