Ultrasonic record cleaner costs more than a new record collection

Hands up anyone who remembers the Ronco Record Vacuum. This '70s classic from the great Ron Popeil would use a battery powered vacuum to suck dust from the grooves of your precious vinyl. Only problem was it would frequently scratch the disc while doing its dirty work. Now the folks from Audio Desk System have decided to perfect Mr Popeil's creation, using ultrasound in place of the vacuum to help shake the vinyl crud loose.

The main catch I see is the price, up from the $12 of the original, to a mind numbing $3495. On the brighter side, the special fluid is only $15 for 100 records worth.
