Evan Reynolds, 19, was unfortunate enough to lose his hand and a good portion of his arm in a car accident. Luckily for him, we live in the future, so he got his arm replaced Luke-Skywalker style with the i-LIMB. This bionic arm is simply amazing; it allows him to do so much that he used to. There's no substitute for the real deal (yet), but they sure are getting closer and closer.
The way things are progressing, you've got to think that these are only going to get more and more realistic in the future. At what point will bionic arms cross the line and become better than their fleshy counterparts? Will we live in a world where these are expensive luxury items instead of necessities? I guess time will tell.
