There are plenty of ways to generate energy from day-to-day objects and activities, it just takes a keen and creative eye to spot them and take advantage. In the Netharlands, at a train station, they're harnessing the energy generated by people as they go through a revolving door.
It's the first revolving door to ever be designed to harness energy, with a display on the outside of the station showing just how much energy has been generated. Imagine if all of the opportunities to generate energy like this were utilized. How much energy would we save? Hopefully this is just the start of a sweeping trend.
