iPhone app iChampagne helps you start your geek New Year right

The gift giving season has passed and assuming you got the gadget you've been hoping for it's time to look towards the new year. What better way to ring in 2009 than with an uber-geeky software application like iChampagne 2008.

The iPhone application, developed by Japanese software group Appliya, powers up quickly and requires just a couple of shakes to pop the virtual champagne bottle and get the bubbly flowing (see video here). You can save your living room carpet and the $200 wine store bill by picking up the iChampagne app for just $0.99 here.
