Cameras are getting so small, they could be hidden just about anywhere. Case in point: this new spy camera that's nestled snugly inside a trade show badge. The $174 tinycam shoots video at a low-rez 352x288, and snags stills at a higher-rez 1280x1024. Once you've grabbed the shots you need, plug it into a PC via USB for transfer and charging.
It looks a bit thick for absolute sneakiness, but it might go unnoticed with bulky badge holder like those handed out at CES. The battery life on this wafer-thin cam isn't mentioned, but other similar devices we've seen can last a long time and can be sound-activated, too. Look out, the walls will soon have ears — and eyes.
