Well, it's about time somebody redesigned the lowly coat hanger. This Swan coat hanger prototype was dreamed up by industrial design student Asaf Yogev, who created a deceptively simple pattern that's a whole lot more versatile than those old-fashioned hangers in your closet and mine.
While it might not make a very good TV antenna or speaker cable, the Swan takes advantage of various centers of gravity when hanging objects from its multiple parts. The result? It not only hangs your coat and hat in style, it gives you a unique way to air out those stinky running shoes. Nice.
