'Ring of the Devil' unlocks electronic locks

If you've got an electronic or electromechanical lock on your door, you probably want to pay attention to this. A magnetic ring dubbed the "ring of the devil" has been found to be able to unlock such doors quickly and easily, no key required. How does it work?

Well, by spinning the ring of the devil near the lock, it changes the magnetic field, which can either activate an electronic motor in the lock or charge the coil in a dynamo in an electromechanical lock. It's pretty simple, as you can see above. If you've got one of these locks, you might want to rethink them, and if you don't, hey, maybe you might want to pick up a ring of the devil. I'm just sayin'.
