Bandai One Hand Player offers gesture based music device

Trolling around the backstreets of Harajuku, Tokyo I happened upon an intriguing device called the One Hand Player from Bandai. Released a couple of years ago in Japan, the music gadget has mostly flown under the radar but still retains the futurist look and feel of Marvel Comic's "Ultimate Nullifier." The device offers 12 scratch samples, and a full set of stock rhythm tracks that you can modify with pitch changes, and the ability to change track play by shaking the unit. As weird as this thing looks, it's not likely to show up in Bjork's next music video but you can still pick one up yourself for just 3,680 yen ($34.30) here.
