CES Weird: Remote-Control cooler has the moves

Some tech products are cool, others are practical, and still others are downright essential. And once in a while you run across something that's all three. Such is the case with the Remote-Control Cooler, a four-wheelin’ ice chest that rolls left, right, forward and back at a pretty good clip — it cannot run a slant route, however.

With a range of about 30 feet, it could be put to good use on patios and pool decks, or simply teasing your neighbors at tailgates. The cooler holds about a dozen drinks, and has a bottle-cap shaped remote control and a closeable lid. From Interactive Toy Concepts, this mobile cooler will be hitting patios near you this spring, for a how-can-you-possibly-not-afford-it $50.
