A new company called Kreative Power (creative name!) will introduce a surge protector called the Powramid that is, as you may have guessed, pyramid shaped. It lets you stick enormous plugs next to each other— not an original idea, but it's prettier than the PowerSquid. It also has one feature that we were really excited about: an on/off switch that's covered by a plastic hood so that when you carelessly trip over your surge protector you won't turn off everything in the room.

Powramids should be in stores in the first few months of this year, and will cost between $17 and $25.
