I've always been a sucker for anything stainless steel, so I am pretty giddy seeing Micro's Stainless Steel Camcorder. Not only does this cam look great on the outside, but it also shoots DVD-quality footage. It can record upwards of two hours of footage and 100 5.4-megapixel still images on a 2 GB SD card. It is available from ThinkGeek for a very reasonable $150.
Seeing a cam like this makes me wonder why more manufacturers don't create stainless steel gadgets? Cost? Demand?I want to see straight up, completely stainless steel gadgets. No plastics, no extra-glossy and definitely no fake stainless steel that is nothing more than a glossy silver coating. Stainless steel provides a level of durability and quality that one would expect out gadgets that cost hundreds of dollars. So who's with me? Who wants some stainless steel gadget love?
