Japan lays claim to robo-history with The Great Robot Exhibition

The epic robot museum of Nagoya, Japan, may have closed down, but a new event called The Great Robot Exhibition proves that Nihon’s passion for humanoid machines is still alive and well. Launched by Japan’s National Museum of Nature and Science, the exhibit is meant to give visitors an up close look at the past and future history of robotics.

Shown above is the Morph3 robot designed by ERATO (Exploratory Research for Advanced Technology) Kitano Symbiotic Systems Project and industrial designer Shunji Yamanak. Running until January 27, 2008, you can find out more about The Great Robot Exhibition here.
