Greenrrroof: Sustainable housing for dogs
Thursday, December 27, 2007 - 9:10am
Because we all know that global warming is caused by all those pesky doghouses that are belching out carbon monoxide and piling up in landfills, Sustainable Pet Design created Greenrrrroof. It's basically the same thing as any old doghouse except it has stuff growing on top of it. It doesn't actually prevent global warming, but it's supposed to insulate against temperature and noise better than your average doghouse, filter runoff water, smell natural (we're not kidding, that's one of the benefits listed on the site), filter the air and provide aesthetic beauty. They're also hand built and made of non-toxic materials like zero-VOC paint and beeswax, so they really are sustainable.
