Chimera Synth is musical fun the size of a CD

This little CD-shaped device is actually a synthesizer. The Chimera Synthesizer to be exact. So what's it do?

The Chimera bC16 is a miniature patch synthesizer that can crank out a cacauphany of analog beeps, blips and bleets. Each of the sixteen rainbow-colored knobs controls a key sound function and up to thirty hand-placed wires interconnect the various synthesizer sections to complete the circuit.
It looks like a lot of fun to play with. Unfortunately, it's $229, so I don't know if it looks like that much fun. If you do decide to make the plunge, it runs on two 9V batteries or plugging right into the wall. Look for it to start shipping next month.
