Neon M3 and Ice video players, smaller than a credit card
Friday, November 30, 2007 - 6:25am
Check out these tiny video players, about the size of a credit card but able to play back three hours of video or six hours of audio on a charge. On the left is the black Neon M3, playing back its video on a 2.4-inch LCD screen. On the right is the brushed aluminum Ice, with a 2.8-inch screen.
Both of the $99 players have a 2-GB capacity, but aren't overly versatile when it comes to file types, each only able to handle AVI and MPEG video, WAV or MP3 audio, and JPEG images. However, both can receive FM radio, and even have an built-in external speaker. Hope your eyesight is good—watching long videos on such minuscule screens isn't too comfortable.
