Vertu's $6,628 phone is a relative bargain

Vertu, Nokia's luxury unit, is known for making some of the most expensive phones out there, aimed squarely at the silver-spoon set. With some of their phones costing ludicrous amounts such as $310,000 and $88,000, the company's new Ascent is a downright bargain.
By bargain I mean $6,628, but when you're comparing it to a $310,000 phone it does seem sort of reasonable. Sort of. In any case, for your money you'll get such niceties as leather accents and a sapphire crystal face. You also get access to the Vertu Fortress, a data backup center for your contacts and such that's excessively located in an ex-military bunker in the English countryside. Totally worth the money!
