The latest uber-gizmo to come out of this week's Tokyo Motor Show is Nissan's Around View Monitor. Sure to be a hit with parallel parking challenged drivers, the Around View Monitor lives up to its name by giving you a virtual look at exactly where your car is in relation to surrounding objects.
The system's side views are provided by tiny cameras strategically situated around the car's exterior. Your exact location is represented by a photo-illustration, and sensors sound an alert when the vehicle moves too close to fixed objects. Pricing for the device hasn't been set, but the option will be available in America in the Infiniti EX35 luxury model in December.
