Nintendo continues to go after the non-gamer market with their super-popular Wii system, unveiling their new Wii Fit controller and game aimed at women and adults. The controller is basically an exercise pad. It senses your weight, and it provides exercise routines and physical games to get the blood pumping. It's yet another unique controller for the system that brought us the Wiimote motion-sensing controller.

It's clearly not aimed at hardcore gamers, but it certainly looks to have the possibility of becoming a huge hit with people who you won't find lined up for the Halo 3 release. By making the system more than just a gaming machine, and allowing people to use it for exercise, it creates just one more excuse for the uninitiated to bring it into their living rooms.
