Samsung's new laptop may or may not really be a laptop

What makes a laptop a laptop? Is it the portability? Or is it just the foldable form factor? If you answered the form factor, then the new Samsung Desknote G25 is a laptop. If not, well, then it's just a strange desktop PC. That's because this "laptop" doesn't have a battery, and therefore can't be used without being plugged in.
It's a computer, in any case, with a 19-inch screen, full keyboard and numerical pad, and 320GB HDD. Ditching the batter certainly will help keep the G25 nice and light, although, again, it's not all that portable as you need an outlet for it to run. It is an interesting idea, however, and people who just want a computer they can tote easily between work and home should be into the idea. It hits Korean shores later this month for a mere $1,088.
