Meltdown Chair supports you with a pile of melted rope

We're always on the look out for unique, conversation-starting furniture here at Sci Fi Tech, which is why we're kind of smitten with this Meltdown Chair. Created by pressing a hot, seat-shaped piece of metal onto a ball of polypropylene rope, the chair is made purely of rope and nuthin' else. Sure, inhaling the fumes while you made the thing would probably give you cancer within a few days, but isn't it worth it to have a hip and unique piece of furniture?

We'd be all about buying it, except for the fact that I'd be worried that it would fall apart pretty easily, most likely at a point when I am sitting right on it. I prefer to invest in furniture that I'm confident will support me in my times of lounging. I guess I'm just picky.
