LiftMatic oven makes cooking lazier
I love to cook, but sometimes I feel like my appliances make it so tedious and difficult that it's not even worth it. I mean, if you have to exert yourself to the point of exhaustion why not just give up and order Chinese food? I'm talking, of course, about oven doors. They expect you to open and close these things willy-nilly, and that just takes effort. You all know how I feel about effort: I'm against it.
That's why I'm excited to see this Gaggenau LiftMatic oven. Rather than getting you too exhausted to enjoy your food by requiring physical effort to place your dish in the oven, it lowers a tray with the push of a button. You then place your food on the tray, and it raises it up inside the oven. It's not only easy, but it's also pretty neat looking. Now if someone would just figure out a way for me to get food into my mouth without using the tyrannically enforced fork-and-knife system, I'd be able to enjoy eating again.
