Wii to come in new colors, if you can find them in stores
Good news for people who hate white gadgets: the Wii is getting' a facelift. Yes, later this year you'll be able to choose what flavor you want your Wii to be (note: don't actually taste your Wii; it's a figure of speech). That is if you'll be able to actually find Wiis sitting on store shelves sometime this year. The way things have been going the Wii might be pretty tough to come by for a while. Perhaps that's Nintendo's big plan: once demand starts to slowly die down and people can actually buy these things without a Herculean effort, toss out a new version to pump demand again. Very tricky, Nintendo.
No word on what other features will be included with this new version of the Wii, if any, but the most likely would be a drive that can play DVDs. But really, who cares about that? What, you don't have a DVD player by now? I'm personally more excited to get a Wii that's lime green than a Wii that can become my 4th DVD player. No release date info as of yet, unfortunately.
