Monster makes LCD mounting DIY
Everybody wants a sexy flatscreen TV on every wall in their house, though when you get one and are actually faced with hanging the sucker, you have to either face your handyman limitations and hire a custom installer or just plunk the thing down on a stand. Monster's PowerMount, however, turns the daunting task of hanging up your TV into a do-it-yourself project.
Able to handle LCD flat panels with screens up to 24 inches, the PowerMount comes in two flavors: the swiveling 350S ($200) and the 450S ($250), which has a fully articulating extendable arm. Both feature cable management, so you can save your HDMI or component-video cables from any undignified dangling. Step-by-step instructions for installing a PowerMount yourself will be available at Monster's website when the mounts arrive in stores in the next couple of months.
