Citizens, have no fear — Fujifilm's FinePix IS-1 is on the case! Crime bosses across the globe hiding in the dark will no longer be safe thanks to this digital camera that can capture both normal images and ones in the infrared light spectrum. Cops, doctors, and scientists won't be able to keep their hands off of these things!

Of course, professionals won't be the only ones using it. Some fan of Predator (you know, that movie where the alien hunter guy has infrared vision) will just have to check it out. Other features include continuous live preview and a built-in 10.7X (28-300mm) optical zoom for versatility in the field sans dust. Expected to drop in February for $900, the IS-1 will probably pop up in episodes of CSI and Room Raiders soon afterward. — Elliot Black
