Reactable makes the modular synth more hands on
The Reactable is a totally sweet synthetic instrument that sort of mixes the Sonic Wire Sculptor with the iBar. It's a table that can sense when various objects are placed on it. Each of the special objects represents a component of a traditional modular synthesizer, and each can be manipulated by turning them around and moving them various distances from each other. What results is an instrument that can be played by multiple people at once and one that is amazingly visually represented while it's being played. It's all run by having a video camera under the table that senses the objects above and a projector, also under the table, that reacts to what movements the users make. I want one. Thanks for the tip, Falon!
