Full HD, the supposed best-of-the-best of video quality, has a paltry 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution. Pah! I spit on your pathetic resolution, full HD! I want resolution so high you could see the feathery moustache wisps of a nerd waiting in line for his PlayStation 3 preorder… from space. This new Sony 4K SRX-S110 should fit the bill nicely, with a max resolution of 4,096 x 2,160 pixels. While it'll be damn near impossible for you to find anything at that resolution to show using the projector, it's nice to know you'll have the ability. I guess. There's no pricing or availability info available for this at the moment, although it's safe to say it'll cost somewhere around a bajillion dollars when it's released.
