Kitchen wall gadget keeps that juicer within reach
It seems that everybody has their own ideas about what the kitchen of the future will look like. Me, I think the kitchen of the future will look a lot like the kitchen of today, but maybe with a computer on the counter for looking up recipes and such. Designer Terence Woon seems to think the future will bring our least-used appliances out from the cupboards and onto the wall, as demonstrated by his Kitchen Wall Series gadget. Slimly attaching to your kitchen wall, it features a juicer, toaster, blender, scale, water dispenser, and multimedia interface. The idea of sticking stuff on the wall rather than taking up counter space is a good one, but let's be honest here. When was the last time you busted out the trusty juicer? Or the blender? Are we making so many smoothies that we need a wall-mounted blender? I suppose time will tell, as this concept is waiting for a well-heeled investor to make it a reality. Better hope there's a sugardaddy out there that really loves fresh squeezed OJ and margaritas, Terence.
