Nabaztag: your personal Internet rabbit

The Internet is great for providing us with up-to-date information and instant communication, but it's just so cold. Why can't the Internet be cuter, that's what I'm always asking. The Nabaztag rabbit looks like just the solution to my adorable desires. A little plastic rabbit that connects to the Web via Wi-Fi, Nabaztag doesn't have any of the boring devices a normal computer has, such as a keyboard, mouse, or monitor. No, instead your new rabbit friend will light up and speak information from the Web directly to you. He can read you the weather, your e-mail, the news, or even your favorite blog posts as RSS feeds. He also plays music, keeps you up to date on your stocks, and acts as a musical alarm clock. Strangely, if you get two of them together they can "mate" and mimic each other's actions, although the benefit of this is somewhat unclear. This is actually a pretty neat idea — a little personal assistant for people who hate sitting and staring at a screen. I don't think anyone will be tossing their computer out the window and replacing it with Nabaztag, and he's no robot, but he could be a neat supplement to your regular Internet routine. It's available online now for about $150.
