Send huge e-mail attachments with Pando

Sending large files via e-mail is a pain, as most services have limits on how big an attachment you can send, usually less than 10 MB. With multimedia files such as audio and video generally taking up much more space than that, startup Pando Networks has stepped in to try to make sending big files easier. Offering a service that allows files of up to 1 GB to be sent to multiple recipients, Pando lets people share large files easily. The service stores the big files on its servers, but once many people begin downloading it the software takes a page from popular file-sharing software BitTorrent by distributing the uploads, meaning people download from many sources simultaneously, speeding up downloads. Pando is currently in the public beta testing phase, but a full version should be out by year's end.
