Transparent toaster: enemy of burnt bread
Wednesday, May 3, 2006 - 12:40pm
Ah, toast… so simple, so versatile, so delicious. But burnt toast? No thanks. If you had one of these transparent toasters, you'd never have to worry about burning your toast again, since you'd be able to see it turning a perfect golden brown evenly on both sides. It works by heating the twin panes of glass… in theory. The glass doesn't get hot enough to do anything more than make warm bread at the moment, but someday see-through toasting might be a reality. One can dream, at least.
