Here's another cool-looking concept with dubious chances of actually becoming a real product: the slide box camera, designed by Jessica Nebel, separates your digital cam into two parts: the lens, on a little cylinder, and the rest of the camera, featuring the LCD screen and charging apparatus. So you can take the lens out, shoot some pictures that presumably couldn't otherwise be shot with a bulkier camera, then slip it back in the case and check out your handiwork. A nice idea, although we aren't sure why you wouldn't just make the entire camera into that small cylinder if you had the technology — the only thing missing would be the LCD screen. Ah well… enjoy the eye candy.
