The long-anticipated Motorola Q smartphone looks poised for launch, with Verizon rekindling the hype for the supposed "BlackBerry killer" with this promotional site. Running on Windows Mobile 5.0, the Q will sport a 2.4-inch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 1.3-megapixel camera — cramming all this gadgety bliss into a high-tech slab less than half an inch thick (to compare, the BlackBerry 8700g is 0.8 inch thick). You may be able to ask for a Q as early as next week, Gizmodo speculates, and can sign up for a ping from Verizon when that happens. But don't you worry about giving your e-mail to "the man" — we've signed up for you, so just check back here.
