Force Dynamics shakes up your gaming
Force feedback controllers are all well and good for getting you "into the game," but sometimes having your controller shake like a cell phone on vibrate isn't enough. Just think if you could play Star Wars in a full-on cockpit simulator, twisting and turning to convince you that you're really flying down the Death Star trench. Enter the 301 from Force Dynamics, a huge, hydraulic gaming rig fitted with a 52-inch projection screen and enough power to make you want to sue it for whiplash. The experience of using the 301 is similar to that of a theme-park ride, where you sit close to the screen to make you feel like you're actually in the game when the seat starts rocking and rolling along with what you see. And this thing means business — check out the video of some guy getting tossed all around after the jump. But if you want to experience the 301 for yourself, you'll have to get in touch with Force Dynamics for a price quote, as there isn't a price on their site. We assume that a hydraulic robot with a 52-inch TV attached wouldn't be cheap, so get ready to pony up many thousands of dollars. But take a look at that video and tell me going into debt wouldn't be worth it.
