TØRQ N100 puts GPS navigation into your hands

If you've ever wanted to take that handy navigation system from your Escalade out on the streets while you're walking around, the upcoming TØRQ N100 from Sound Solutions may be the phone for you. A combined PDA, phone, and GPS device, the N100 has a 2.8-inch touchscreen display that can show you where you're going, how long it'll take you to get there, and what roads to avoid. It'll even alert you about any traffic jams in your way thanks to a special Traffic Message Channel. Also included are a 1.3-megapixel camera as well as Pocket PC software, so you can do things like check your e-mail and check out Microsoft Office documents on the go. Exactly which wireless carrier, if any, will be offering the N100 hasn't been revealed, but Sound Solutions plans to release the phone in the U.S. next month. No word on price either, but without a carrier discount it probably won't be that cheap.
