GPS navigation comes to motorcycles
With GPS navigation devices becoming more and more common in SUVs and luxury cars, motorcyclists have been out of luck if they wanted to get in on the direction-getting action. Until now, that is, with the upcoming release of the BMW Motorrad Navigator III, made by Garmin. The Navigator III allows you to load in your route from your computer before you head out, and it comes with speech-to-text recognition and Bluetooth capabilities, so you can just tell it where you want to go — right from your Bluetooth helmet. It comes with an antireflective screen to keep your maps visible when Mr. Sun is a little too bright, and it's detachable and portable so you don't need to worry about someone ripping it off when you leave your hog parked outside Arby's. The Navigator III will be released later this month with the price to be announced.
