Wine scanner keeps your drink in order

The IntelliScanner Wine Collector 150 is designed for the accomplished connoisseur. A personal handheld barcode scanner, it picks up the wine's name, varietal, winery, country, type, color, and region. Then, connecting to your computer via USB or Bluetooth, it organizes the information with wine-management software, compatible on Mac OS X (10.3 or later) or Windows XP. IntelliScanner's 62,000-wine database should contain details on most bottles, but for that rare Barolo or cab, you can manually enter its vitals. The price tag is $200 for the USB package and $300 for the Bluetooth version unfortunately, too steep to help with my fine boxed-merlot collection.
