Here's one for the "why didn't they think of this sooner?" file: rotating power outlets. As anyone who's tried to plug two bulky power adapters into the same wall plate knows, outlets were never designed for today's gadget era. Power strips can help, but they usually have the same problem. With 360 Electrical's rotating outlets, you can spin a wall plate's plug-ins so a pair of adapters face away from each other, making room for both. It's a "click and hold" design, so whatever you plug in stays at the angle you choose. The 360 site says you should be able to find the easy-to-install outlets in hardware stores soon, and they'll cost about $8 each. Rotating versions of dual-gang outlets and power strips are said to be in the works.
