NASCAR fans can upgrade with FanView

For NASCAR faithful, the introduction of NASCAR NEXTEL FanView to racetracks should be more titillating than a Michael Waltrip/Robby Gordon face-off. The handheld FanView will include video, audio, and data capabilities allowing race attendees access to the race telecast and radio broadcast, seven in-car camera channels, and up-to-the-second lap-time, speed, and position stats. It'll be available for rent ($50 per day or $70 for a weekend) at all locations during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. For the NASCAR connoisseur, FanView might just be a novelty, but for the rest of us, it might finally illuminate the entertainment value of watching a Ford Fusion drive around in circles.
