Dozens upon dozens of smartphones are released every year, but the most anticipated one is the iPhone.
There has been no shortage of dummy/mockup leaks for Apple's iPhone 6. It seems like everyone has one. While the design can't be confirmed until Apple reveals the product itself, there's so much smoke to support this design, that it's almost as good as legit. The well-connected Sonny Dickson got his hands on a dummy unit for what is strongly believed to be the iPhone 6 and did what anyone with a mockup would do: a photo shoot.
As you can see in the gallery below, Dickson pits the unannounced iPhone 6 up against eight iPhone models, but also the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8), two high-end Android smartphones. His photos are probably the best look at what the iPhone 6 will resemble when it's announced later this year.
Based on the rumor mill, here's everything that sounds logical for the iPhone 6 so far:
- 4.7-inch with 1704 x 960 resolution
- A8 processor
- iOS 8
- TouchID fingerprint sensor
- Better camera
- 6-7mm thickness (thinner than iPhone 5s, but thicker than iPod touch)
- Three colors: black, gold, and silver
