Image of the Day: Moonrise from the ISS

This image of a waning gibbous moon was taken from the ISS back in June. The station was 225 miles high at the time, somewhere along the equator over Northern Africa, and the photographer thoughtfully composed the picture in such a way as to make a killer background for your favorite mobile device.

You can find an appropriately massive full-size image here.
