Image of the Day: Ultraviolet transit of Venus

Humans' pathetically inferior eyesight prevents us from naturally enjoying the ultraviolet part of the spectrum. But we can cheat, and when we do, we can make images of boring things (like the Sun) look all rainbow trippy. And that little black dot? That's Venus, spoiling our view. Don't worry, though: Venus will stay out of the way until 2117.
