Today the Brooklyn Bridge celebrates its 130th birthday. This old steel-wire suspension bridge helped transform the borough from a rural community to a thriving center of commerce and it hasn't slowed down yet. According to NYC.gov, it sees 120,000 vehicles, 4,000 pedestrians and 3,100 bicyclists daily.
